ERIKA’S CHALLENGES BEFORE SHE CAME TO ME:

Her blog design was basic, hard to navigate and she didn’t feel it looked professional. She wanted something that was SEO-optimized, easy to get around, and fast.

WHAT WE DID:

We created a logo, chose brand colors, and fonts, and then moved on to the design.

Her bake-off posts are the main subject of her blog, so we wanted that highlighted most of all. But she also posts her own recipes and her travels, so we featured those as well on her homepage.

I ASKED ERIKA IF ANYTHING HAS CHANGED SINCE WORKING TOGETHER TO BUILD HER NEW BLOG:

My page views and organic search views have definitely increased since last year (they’ve doubled in some cases), but most notably since switching to Mediavine and increasing my page views in tandem, I have increased my ad revenue by six-fold!
