The Hungry Dragonfly
We developed the Hungry Dragonfly with our newest offering: Mini-Custom sites!
Mariela was SO fun to work with. She brought the most amazing inspiration board filled with great textures, patterns, and so much color. Mariela added on a branding package so we could go a little more custom and I worked to bring in all that beautiful Puerto Rican warmth and vibrancy without overpowering her food photos.

So much personality
Some of the recurring patterns (that Mariela hadn’t even noticed) in the backgrounds of her inspiration photos were gorgeous hand painted tile floors and backsplashes. I had to make some to use as patterns throughout the site. We have the full, colorful repeating tiles as borders around key elements, and then a monochromatic, subdued version to use as a background pattern.
