Should you switch to the new editor? Isn’t it hard? Isn’t it limited compared to the Classic Editor? Read the post to find out!
You can totally do WordPress.
WordPress can be so intimidating at first. When I switched from Blogger, I cried. And I'm not a crier.
But that happened because I didn't have someone telling me where to start, and to start small. (Just the typical "How to Start a Blog in 5 Easy Steps!" post from a popular blogger. The only thing that was easy was giving someone my credit card, and I learned later that they only write those posts for the $65 commission from their hosting company, not to actually help people.)
I'm here to be that helper for you. You'll find WordPress basics here, in plain English, not technical terms that will leave you just as frustrated and confused as you started.
And if you have a question you don't see answered here, send me a note. Really! I'd love to help you out.

How to optimize images
What is an optimized photo? It’s a photo that is the appropriate pixel size (width and height), an appropriate file size (the smaller, the better), and one that’s titled and tagged properly for your blog. Most blog content areas are only about 700 pixels wide, so there is no need to upload anything 900 pixels […]

What’s required to start a WordPress site?
There are only two things you need before you can set up a WordPress blog: a domain and hosting. Essentially, if your website was a house, the hosting is the piece of land you need to purchase to build your house on. What is a blog?
This post might be a little basic, but it’s still a question I’m frequently asked. And it’s also a subject that is often misunderstood. So, really, what is a blog? A blog is a section of a website where content is updated regularly. Each time a new article–or blog post–is written, it is displayed as the […]
