This simple plugin makes it easy for you to display posts anywhere on your blog with just a shortcode.

You can have it display individual posts, the latest posts from certain categories, and you can pick how many posts you want displayed in one section.

To show just your 4 latest posts, you would enter this shortcode where you want your posts to show (in a widget or on a page!).

[latest_post posts_per_page="4"]

You can change the number of posts to whatever you want.

To show the 3 latest posts from your “Cakes” category, you’d put:

[latest_post posts_per_page="3" category="cakes"]

To show one specific post, write the slug of the post (what it says in the URL of the post):

[latest_post post="chocolate-chip-cookies"]
